EDA2R

EDA2R, also known as Ectodysplasin A2 receptor, is a protein encoded by the EDA2R gene. It belongs to the tumor necrosis factor receptor (TNFR) superfamily and functions as a receptor for ectodysplasin A2 (EDA-A2), a signalling molecule. EDA2R plays a vital role in mediating EDA-A2 signalling during embryonic development, regulating the formation and patterning of ectodermal tissues such as hair, teeth, and sweat glands.
